Spiritual Wisdom

Of the thousands (or is it tens of thousands?) of verses, here are a few which appealed to me–accompanied by a one word translation (which may differ depending upon the terrestrial)

Faith

“Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?” ~Jeremiah 32:27

Integrity

“For we can do nothing against the truth, but for the truth.” ~Apostle Paul, 2 Corinthians 13:8

Loyalty

“Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.” ~Jesus Christ, John 15:13

Excellence

“Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest.” ~King Solomon, Ecclesiastes 9:10

Righteousness

“Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.” ~Apostle Paul, Romans 12:21

Worship

“I will sing unto the LORD as long as I live: I will sing praise to my God while I have my being.” ~King David, Psalms 104:33

Devotion

“And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.” ~Deuteronomy 6:5

Respect

“Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am the LORD.” ~Leviticus 19:18

Entrepreneur

“I wisdom dwell with prudence, and find out knowledge of witty inventions.” ~King Solomon, Proverbs 8:12

Weakness

“If thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small.” ~King Solomon, Proverbs 24:10

Poetic

“A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in pictures of silver.” ~King Solomon, Proverbs 25:11

Vision

“Better is the end of a thing, than the beginning thereof: and the patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit.” ~King Solomon, Ecclesiastes 7:8

Romance

“Many waters cannot quench love, neither can the floods drown it: if a man would give all the substance of his house for love, it would utterly be contemned.” ~Song of Solomon, 8:7

Hope

“As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.” ~Jesus Christ, John 9:5
