I finished this semi-controversial book (at least within Christiandom) months ago and I can say that David Murrow’s analysis is spot on.
For those looking for a reader’s digest, Murrow basically states that the atmosphere within churches is set towards comfort and not upon challenge.
Guys (for the most part) thrive off of challenge and institutions (whether secular or religious) that don’t reflect this will usually suffer what Murrow calls a gender gap within the pews.
I’d say more but I don’t want to spoil the contents. ;-)
