Well, after a few hours, I finally finished 95% of the customizations for this site.

WordPress may have it’s drawbacks code wise compared to Blogger’s simplicity, but it’s a lot more powerful tool–something my best friend often reminded me of.

There is still a lot more I have to do behind the scenes, but for now I’m quite satisfied as I can happily blog from my iPhone. 

It looks like I discovered another great theme by Elegant Themes (aff.) called Glow (still in development).

When I was figuring out themes for my blog, I originally went with LightSource, but wanted something with a more traditional blog layout (like eNews), without losing the elegant background.

While I do love this current theme, its a little too bland for me, so I am looking forward to a new upgrade to compliment the other sites that I’ve purchased.

Although I love the space theme of this web journal, I am trading it in for a new…more “Mac” like skin.

If all goes well, I’ll post a video to celebrate. If not…well–there’s always tomorrow.

Update: The site is now live and alive! (well, 99% at least)

Now all I have to do is upload a video on the next post (to celebrate the redesign).

Although I love borrowing Google’s blogger design for this template, it kinda makes me unofficially look like Google (which can be bad and possibly lead towards confusion, not to mention loss of Ad Sense).

This site may look funky for a while, but hold on as I work out the bugs of this joint.
