Giving It All Away…

In order to get a fresh start.

After today’s (or rather yesterday’s) ordeal I’ve decided to turn what use to be fond memories into positive experiences again, so I’m donating some trendy clothes and shoes to charity (you can ask me why later on when I’m ready to talk about it).

While I think someone will find the pants and shirts useful, I’m not sure about the shoes (as they’re a size 13 and have been worn frequently).

I’ll drop them off in the morning, before heading downtown in order to “chillax” (as Zach always says).

Either way I’m looking forward towards the next 6 months. Hopefully my work will bear fruit (especially during this horrendous recession).

I Love You Amy. And Thanks For The Card

.
My friends will probably be upset about me saying this but I’m usually apathetic when it comes to receiving greeting cards.

Whether it’s for the holidays, birthday, or a random event, most greeting cards I received end up in the trash bin as I try not to hold onto any paper (especially in the age of digital bliss we now live in).

Unless I scan it towards Evernote, the card (along with its contents) usually disappears after a week, if not sooner.

Amy however is a different story.

Call it love or call it folly, but either way it seems that even the little things she does like presenting a Valentine’s card (or years ago creating a silly peanut crown which is another story of itself) I end up saving rather than throwing away.

Even though I know that it’s the information inside that counts and not the physical card itself.

So Amy if you were wondering, yes I’m still going to keep a physical copy of the card.

But I’m still going to scan it to our private scrapbook on Evernote too! (hey, backing up your info is very important to a geek). ;-)
