When Vampires Go SciFi (Underworld: Awakening)

Just finished watching Underworld: Awakening, and I think I just saw the best vampire/werewolf movie ever made–and I’m not even a living dead fantasy type of flick lover!

I loved how the Underworld franchise is moving away from the fantasy aspect of vampires and werewolves and is incorporating more science within the story.

Spoiler Alert: this girl is important. ;-)

The only thing I hated about this flick is the fact that I’ll have to wait until the next movie. Let’s just say it should be full of hybrid fun. ;-)

    I knew I should have tried harder to get my wife to go see this, but she wanted to see Contraband, which wasn’t bad, but probably not as good as this.

    I myself figured the franchise was way past dead, i had no intention of seeing this. However i may have changed my mind.
